Dovo brand single-sided, cut-throat razor strop XL (extra wide) made from Russian cowhide and fitted with chromed wall hanging hook and hand ring for tension and the sharpest blade.

The Dovo Extra Wide Russian Leather Strop is the the widest strop on the market. Its width enables you to strop in a simple forward and back motion - without having to use an "X" pattern like you do with narrower strops.
Made from the finest Russian Type Leather (which is only used in the very best strops), it measures a whopping 80mm in width and 570mm in length.
Also features stitched and riveted construction for durability and a nickel plated swivelling loop for hanging. It's a beautiful strop and it comes ready to use.

44cm x 5cm. Overall length 45cm. Strop the blade on the canvas back to warm the blade, remove dust and small particles and line up the micro 'fins' of the razor edge prior to the main stopping on the leather side.
Stropping/blade polishing paste may also be applied to the reverse canvas side if desired.

Strop Paste- To maintain the edge on your straight razor, try this strop paste from Dovo. They are equivalent to black and red polishing rouge- the same compound used to polish steel during razor restoration work.

By applying this paste to the canvas side of your hanging strop, you can "polish" the edge and keep it lasting longer.

Your edge will stay sharper in between honing and you should generally have a better overall shaving experience.

Be sure to use light pressure and perform 25-50 laps on the coated canvas before going to the leather side.

Says it all in the name, Alum is a natural mineral revered for its ability to soothe shaving irritation and stop nicks and cuts from bleeding.

A single 75g block lasts for months and should be part of every wet-shaver's kit.

Can also be used as an astringent for those with normal to oily skin.
